Hi there, I’m Emma!
My name is Emma Azhan, and I am the founder of Terra!
About Me
As you know from the title of this page, I'm Emma! I'm sixteen and a Junior in Mission Viejo, California.
I was born and raised in Malaysia for the first 14 years of my life, surrounded by coral reefs and the oldest rainforest in the world. Growing up amongst the awe-inspiring beauty of our Earth instilled a deep passion for nature and conservation in me, which was then fueled by an education centred on the importance of saving our planet.
Because of this, I have created Terra, and online education program dedicated to teaching the younger generation the importance of environmental conservation and loving the planet which fosters our life.
Our Mission
At Terra, it is our mission to teach the leaders of tomorrow to love and nurture our Earth as it nurtures us, and to strive to repair what we have broken after decades of environmental destruction. We aim to instill in children a deep rooted knowledge of environmental conservation, ecology and climate change, so that they may be armed with the tools necessary to make a lasting change in the world, and grow to become conscientious global citizens.
Our Students
Terra targets students in early elementary school, from ages 4 to 8. This is one of the most foundational periods of a child's development, and so it is crucial that they are taught the importance of being a thoughtful global citizen and to show love for our planet.
Our Sessions
Our weekly sessions are free and online. Lessons last between 30 minutes to an hour, and are every Tuesday from 3 to 4 pm (PST). Parental supervision is mandatory for all lessons.
